Trustees

Trustees are persons with high-level vision, access to regional resources, and demonstrated influence. Trustees are nominated by the Board and are elected by the Board.
Duties include: a) raising annual and capital operating funds as well as scholarship funds for the Youth Challenge Academy Foundation, Inc., b) advising the organization on community matters, and c) serving as an advocate for the mission and purpose of the Georgia National Guard Youth Challenge Program and Youth Challenge Academy Foundation, Inc.
They are invited but not required to attend meetings of the Corporate Board. They may receive information distributed to the Corporate Board such as financials, minutes, and meeting notices.

Ambassador

Ambassadors, unlike celebrity spokespersons, are former graduates, that are capable, able and willing to get engaged. They feel strongly about the Youth Challenge Program and want to share their experiences. Ambassadors are individuals cadets and the public can connect and engage with through a solid, well-established online presence or through public speaking appearances.

Volunteer

Volunteers have a wide array of talents. Volunteers are persons highly active in their communities, members of social and/or business clubs and active members of their congregation. We would love for you to speak at breakfasts and luncheon, conduct meet and greets and organize small fundraisers.

According to Merriam Webster, a volunteer is “a person who expresses a willingness to undertake a service.” By becoming a volunteer and assisting our Youth, you are capable of inciting change and making progress.YOU can change a young person’s life forever!
